There’s a question that’s been bothering me for some time: What happened to Darren DeVivo and Eric Holland? Two of WFUV’s best DJs seem to have been unceremoniously “disappeared.”

I’m an avid daily listener and can’t recall any mention of their departure on-air or on your website. How could that be?

Certainly recent funding challenges led to difficult conversations and financial decisions. Regardless, the end of decades of good work in the public sphere deserve at least a mention and, more appropriately, a public-facing display of appreciation and gratitude. I came for the music, but is this “the community” you offer?

They and your listeners deserved better.
