The Metropolitan Opera Summer Recital Series has small ensembles visiting parks in all five New York City boroughs this summer and Jackie Robinson Park in Harlem, Manhattan was the venue on Friday, June 26 2015.  Accompanied expertly by Dan Saunders on piano, Kiri Deonarine, Ginger Costa-Jackson, and John Moore delighted the audience with their wondrous voices.  They also explained briefly – and animatedly – the meaning of the arias and duets they were singing from various operas and composers which added to the experience.  The venerable classic music institution‘s Summer HD Festival, with 3,000 seats set up in front of the Met at Lincoln Center, begins on August 28.
