The weather held up and Los Lobos sailed through a dynamite set while our boat cruised the Hudson. Don’t Worry Baby & Down on the Riverbed were highlights of the early going. David Hidalgo got out the squeezebox for some traditional Mexican boleros and they blazed through Not Fade Away, Bertha, & Crossroads as we approached the pier at the end of evening. The heat lightning made it a little more magical.
