I interviewed influential Boston-based alternative rock band the Pixies when they hit the Capitol Theatre on a Sunday evening in January 2014, and it was only the fourth show for the then new bass player Paz Lenchantin. Charles, Joey, and David gave me a chat before that show and I was able to shoot some video of the performance.
In 2019 I interviewed the Pixies at WFUV studios on the occasion of the release of their new album, Beneath the Eyrie, where they also performed 3 songs live.
In 2025 I interviewed original Pixies bass player Kim Deal when she visited WFUV studios to perform music from her solo album, Nobody Loves You More.
