SOOL is COOL
Imagine a band from the land of Abba with a singer who has the girth of Meatloaf and the creepy charisma of David Koresh. They’re more seventies than Cheap Trick and more infectious than a Chinatown street walker. The good seventies too; delightfully riffy, wicked hooks, and a shot of psychedelia via dulcimer and sitar.not to mention the mighty mellotron and the mysterious cembalo! They so have it going on. Behind the Music (featuring the best song of 2002 Sister Surround) is their third album but first released in the US. They’re at the Paradise this Sunday (the 23rd ) with Caesars and Sam Roberts. You would be completely out of your mind not to go see them.
