About eighty fans, mostly nineteen year olds, turned up on a Tuesday night to observe this five man band made up of good looking guys and led by a singer with 90125 sideburns. They sounded like they've listened to a lot of Godsmack and even copped that megaphone sound on one of the song's vocals. The guys had chops but it was lightweight stuff despite song titles like Jellyneck and Dogfight. They had enough polish that Mix 98.5 might put them on the playlist next to Nickelback.

"This is the real deal before your eyes." When the WWF style stage patter began things took a turn for the worse. When the guitarist not only referenced but played about five minutes worth of Zeppelin's Dazed and Confused in a solo, things were becoming intolerable. Finally, when a ridiculous feedback masturbation session began which might have been amusing if it were a parody of seventies arena rock excess, it was time to go.      -Eric Holland
