I interviewed Kenny Barron, whom The Los Angeles Times called “one of the top jazz pianists in the world,” during his residency from Friday, December 9, 2016 through Christmas Day 2016 at the Appel Room in NYC. He played some of the shows with Brazilian singer and guitarist Rosa Passos, so I had the opportunity to ask about her, among other topics.
